introduction story for project: astronaut probe to mars

Astrnauts in the form of shrimp, just say this is the astronaut or astronaut not willing to got to mars until sent other life form to test space probes ability to sustain life.

Your mission is to create a space probe which will enable a 1 manned space craft to land on mars and sustain your astronaut for 30 earth days.

You will need to provide your astrnaut or aquanaut with:

Food
water
Air
warmth

aditional home comforts- how do these effect your survival?

You will be competeing against both the Russian and American space crews
